About Athena

Athena Kong joined Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns LLP in September 2022 as an articling student and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2023. Her practice covers a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, and she is building expertise in commercial real estate, having worked on deals involving corporate restructurings, property acquisitions, and franchise expansions. Before joining MBB Law she worked at a Hong Kong law firm known for its IPO practice and gained admission as a solicitor of Hong Kong's High Court. Athena holds an LL.B. and a postgraduate certificate in laws from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned a Master of Laws with high distinction from the University of Toronto. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
