About Idan
Idan Erez is a partner in the litigation department at Sotos LLP, admitted to practice in both Ontario and the state of Georgia. His work centers on franchising and other commercial disputes as well as professional liability and personal injury defence, and he has handled shareholder disputes, commercial contract matters, injunctions and real estate litigation. He has also taken on class action files involving pharmaceuticals and data breaches. Idan has represented clients in Ontario's Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court, and has also appeared in British Columbia's Superior Court and before the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench. He offers legal services in both English and Hebrew, making him a resource for Hebrew-speaking clients in the Toronto and Hamilton areas. He earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall in 2001 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2009 and in Georgia in 2015.
