About Iain

Iain Bailey's practice focuses on workplace compliance, defending employers against prosecutions for regulatory offences, class actions over working conditions, and other employment-related matters before courts and tribunals. He has represented employers facing workplace fatality and catastrophic-injury investigations, obtaining charge withdrawals, acquittals, and favourable resolutions, and he has defended clients in disease-outbreak and systemic harassment class actions. Iain was called to the Alberta Bar in 2016 after earning his J.D. from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. with distinction from the University of Victoria. He has twice been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Labour and Employment Law and is an active member of the Advocates' Society.
