About Karanpal

Karanpal (Karan) Aujla is a partner at Cambria LLP with more than a decade of experience in criminal defence, family law and civil litigation, including high-profile criminal cases and appearances at all levels of the Alberta courts, up to the Court of Appeal. Raised in Calgary, he studied law at the University of Dundee in Scotland on a scholarship obtained in 2005. His criminal defence work spans summary offences to serious indictable crimes, and his family law practice covers divorce, parenting time, spousal support and domestic violence matters, while his civil litigation practice includes breach of contract, personal injury and real estate disputes. Karan also assists with transactional matters such as real estate, wills and estates, and corporate issues, serving clients across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Outside the courtroom, he is an avid motorsports enthusiast.
