About Hung
Hung Nguyen is a partner at Deeth Williams Wall who practises primarily in trademark law. He advises on trademark portfolios covering everything from opposition and enforcement to filing, prosecution, and licensing, for clients ranging from food and beverage manufacturers to insurance companies and non-profit associations. Hung was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2002 and is a registered Canadian Trademark Agent. He earned his LL.B. summa cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 2000 and a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1997. He has been active with the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, chairing its Communications Committee, and with the International Trademark Association and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. He has been recognized by World Trademark Review 1000 as a leading trademark professional and named Agent of the Year in 2019.
