About Dan
Dan Malone is an associate at Lenczner Slaght whose practice covers a wide range of commercial and regulatory disputes, including regularly acting for physicians in medical negligence and professional regulation matters. He has appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court, and various administrative and arbitration tribunals. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Dan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where he won prizes in constitutional, international, and insurance law and competed internationally in the Jessup and Vis moots. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2023. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King's College in Halifax and worked as a newspaper reporter and editor.
