About Jenene

Jenene Roberts is a partner in Goodmans' Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, practising intellectual property litigation with a focus on patent disputes in the pharmaceutical industry. She appears regularly before the Federal Court of Canada in complex patent matters and has also argued before the Federal Court of Appeal. As a registered trademark agent, she has handled trademark opposition and expungement proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board. Before law school, she spent three years as a research assistant while completing an undergraduate chemistry degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she received several awards, including the Captain Robert A. Bartlett Science Award as the top graduating science student. She was part of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution group from 2011 to 2021 and rejoined Goodmans in 2022.
