About Howard

Howard Goldblatt is of counsel at Goldblatt Partners, where he has represented trade unions and their members in labour law matters for more than 40 years. Grievance arbitration has long been central to his practice, and he regularly negotiates and arbitrates collective agreement terms. He also represents trade unions before the Ontario Labour Relations Board in unfair labour practice, illegal strike, and duty of fair representation cases, and handles judicial review applications and appeals. From 2011 to 2019 he served as an elected bencher of the Law Society of Ontario, and in 2014 he was elected a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. His practice covers administrative law, appeals and judicial review, human rights, labour law, and professional regulation.
