About Herbert
Herbert Silber is a Senior Litigation Counsel with over 45 years of practice focusing on real estate, commercial contracts, corporate disputes, and employment law, including co-counselling major commercial fraud cases, shareholder oppression actions, and wrongful dismissal trials. He serves as an arbitrator and mediator, trained through Harvard University's negotiation program, and is a panelist with the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre. He previously served on the Board of Governors at BCIT and holds various community leadership positions. He holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA from the University of British Columbia, was called to the bar in Ontario in 1974 and British Columbia in 1975, and was appointed King's Counsel. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds a Martindale Peer Review Rating of BV Distinguished.
