About Hannah
Hannah Volk practises criminal defence with Advocate Law, focusing on clients whose cases involve mental health issues. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Crime, Law and Justice Studies, from the University of Saskatchewan, and her Juris Doctorate from the same university in 2020. During law school she volunteered with Community Legal Assistance Services For Saskatoon Inner City (CLASSIC), a poverty law clinic, and worked under a Saskatoon criminal defence lawyer during a murder trial. Her published articles in the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association Magazine addressed mental health and criminal procedure. She has argued for bail and handled matters involving assault, sexual assault, drug trafficking, firearms offences, fraud, dangerous driving causing death, and murder, and has experience in appellate work.
