About Creighton

Creighton Garson is a barrister and solicitor at Kensian & Associates practising civil litigation, corporate law, and wills and estates. Raised in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Calgary through a collaborative program at what is now Red Deer Polytechnic. Before law school he spent two years teaching English as a second language in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, and served as an electoral observer for the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election through CANADEM. During his law degree at the University of Calgary he worked with the United Nations' International Organization for Migration, providing translation assistance and legal analysis to Ukrainian refugees. He articled in Red Deer, gaining experience in small claims, employment, landlord-tenant, insurance, collections, and estate litigation, as well as wills, probate, and estate management, and uses his language skills to assist clients with immigration matters. He practises in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
