About Kevin

Kevin Sproule operates a solo criminal defence practice in Red Deer, Alberta. Raised on a family farm near Lafleche, Saskatchewan, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina in 1976 and his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979. He began his career in 1982 with a general small-town practice in Stettler, Alberta, handling real estate, corporate, matrimonial, wills and estates, surface rights, and personal injury matters in addition to criminal law. He moved to Red Deer in the early 1990s and has since focused increasingly on criminal defence, appearing in the Court of King's Bench in Red Deer and the Courts of Justice in Red Deer, Stettler, Rocky Mountain House, Rimbey, Ponoka, Didsbury, Coronation, Drumheller, and Wetaskiwin. He has never acted as a Crown prosecutor.
