Sander Gelsing is an intellectual property lawyer and registered patent and trademark agent based in Red Deer, Alberta. He is a partner at Warren Sinclair LLP, where he has led the intellectual property team for more than a decade, and his practice is restricted to intellectual property law and IP litigation. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Victoria along with a B.A. in Geography and Philosophy and a B.Sc. in Animal Biology, both from the University of Calgary. Gelsing is a member of the Law Societies of Alberta and British Columbia, and is registered as a Canadian and United States patent agent. His practice covers patent and trademark applications and litigation, copyright registration, licensing agreements, and Federal Court intellectual property matters, including representation before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the Trademark Opposition Board. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, the International Trademark Association, and the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section.
