About Jason

Jason Golbey founded the firm in 2010, after starting his practice at a regional law firm in 2003, with the aim of combining business intelligence and social values in his legal services. He focuses on business and corporate law, working with founders, entrepreneurs, and growing companies on structuring, transactions, shareholder matters, and software, technology, and licensing arrangements. He is increasingly involved in advising clients on the practical and legal implications of AI in their businesses. He holds a law degree from the University of Alberta and an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia.
