About Hanna
Hanna Singer is an associate at Torys practicing litigation and dispute resolution, with emphasis on securities, construction and class action defence, alongside other high-stakes commercial and civil matters. She has represented banking, telecom and life sciences clients in trials and arbitrations, working with experts, examining witnesses and building arguments. Hanna has appeared before the Federal and Ontario Courts, including the Commercial List, and keeps an active pro bono practice focused on public law. Before joining Torys, she was a litigation associate at a full-service Toronto firm and was previously active in federal politics, working in Ottawa for a Member of Parliament. During law school, she was an active mooter, served as an editor of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review, earned the course prize in Administrative Law, and worked as a research assistant for Professor Hamish Stewart, a leading evidence law scholar.
