About Vinayak

Vinayak Mishra is the founder and principal of Albatross Law, a civil litigator focused on business disputes and professional regulatory matters. He has represented and advocated for clients at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Small Claims Court, and has represented professionals facing complaints and investigations, including CPAO, CPAB and CPSO investigations and HPARB appeals. Before founding Albatross Law, Mishra practised at full-service Bay Street firms and leading litigation boutiques. His representative work includes acting as counsel for a minority shareholder in a successful application for specific performance (2025 ONSC 453), appeal counsel for an estate on limitation periods for demand loans (2024 ONCA 603), and counsel in a multimillion-dollar private arbitration involving a former partner's breach of fiduciary duties. He provides pro bono legal services through Pro Bono Ontario, including representing clients in refugee applications and appeals.
