About Gordon

Gordon McKinnon is a partner at TDS who practises civil litigation and administrative law, with litigation experience in insurance law, personal injury, and commercial litigation. His administrative law practice relates to workers' compensation and professional discipline, and he acts as external and litigation counsel to a number of provincial Crown agencies and departments. Gordon earned his LL.B. from Manitoba Law School in 1978 and received an honorary LL.D. from the University of Winnipeg in 1997. He was called to the Manitoba bar in 1979 and to the Northwest Territories bar in 2008. He has been recognized repeatedly in Best Lawyers in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for insurance law and commercial litigation, and was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2006.
