About Farah

Farah Ghilane practises family law and criminal defence at Goldwater Droit. She appears regularly before the Superior Court and the Court of Québec in divorce and separation proceedings, custody and access disputes, spousal and child support, asset division and international custody matters. Alongside her family practice she takes on criminal mandates involving offences against the person, domestic violence, fraud and impaired driving, coordinating strategy when a family dispute generates parallel criminal proceedings. Ghilane arrived at Goldwater Droit in 2023, after roughly five years of practice at another family law firm. Ghilane earned her LL.B. from the Université de Montréal in 2015 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2017. She is a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit familial du Québec and works in French and English.
