About Christian
Christian Jacques is a partner in Osler's Emerging and High Growth Companies Group in the Montréal office. His practice focuses on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and public offerings for emerging and high-growth companies, and he advises clients across industries including software as a service, virtual and augmented reality, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, blockchain and cryptocurrency. Christian has worked with clients ranging from early-stage startups to established public companies, private equity firms and venture capital funds. Before joining Osler, he co-led an emerging and high-growth companies practice at another large Canadian law firm, and earlier in his career worked as a corporate finance analyst for the Capital Markets Division at the Autorité des marchés financiers, the Québec securities regulator. Christian began his career at Osler as an articling student and associate before returning to the firm as a partner. He holds an LL.B. in Civil Law from Laval University.
