Sylvie Rodrigue is a partner at Torys recognized as one of Canada's leading litigators, known for representing clients across many industries and jurisdictions in a wide array of disputes. She has particular strength in class actions, product liability, and commercial litigation, and is among a small group of counsel who defend cases in both Québec and the common law provinces. Her practice touches on product liability, pharmaceutical and medical device claims, banking, privacy, constitutional and competition law, employment, securities, and tort matters, often within multi-jurisdictional class proceedings handled from pre-certification through trial. She has appeared before courts at every level, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Sylvie received the Advocatus Emeritus designation from the Québec Bar and was named Litigator of the Year in 2021 by the Canadian Law Awards; she was also twice recognized by WXN as being among Canada's Top 100 Women.
