About Emily

Emily's practice covers general corporate and commercial matters, acting as company counsel and representing clients on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, share and asset purchases, and reorganizations, with a particular focus on high-growth emerging companies. She works to make sure clients understand their options so they can make sound, practical business decisions. During law school she received several awards, including the Schulich Scholarship and the O'Hara Prize for top standing in criminal law. Emily earned her J.D. and Master of Health Administration from Dalhousie University, both in 2019, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2020. She belongs to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and the Canadian Bar Association.
