About Brendan

Brendan Dean is a senior associate practicing corporate and commercial law, with particular focus on private equity work, mergers and acquisitions, and financings in the mining sector. He has represented both targets and acquirors across domestic, cross-border, and international deals spanning mergers, acquisitions, financings, and divestitures. His work also involves helping clients with various financing and corporate transactions, from drafting to negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal opinions. While in law school, Brendan earned the Spirit Award along with the Law '66 Book Prize for Contracts, and served as an associate editor of the Queen's Law Journal. He now volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario, offering legal advice to Ontarians in vulnerable circumstances.
