About Emily

Emily M. Cohen is a Partner in Green and Spiegel's Philadelphia office who has practised exclusively in immigration and nationality law since 1989. Her clients range from multinational corporations and technology companies to healthcare institutions and academic organizations. Early in her career, she founded the Immigration Law Center in Philadelphia to serve as a community resource on immigration issues, and she has written and lectured on immigration matters for universities and corporate clients. Before joining Green and Spiegel, she was a partner at Steel, Doebley & Glassman and a founding partner at Cohen, Fluhr & Gonzalez. She earned her B.A. in anthropology and Asian studies from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 1988, and was first accredited to represent clients before the former Immigration and Naturalization Service in 1982.
