About Emily

Emily Denomme (they/them) focuses on labour and employment law, representing construction industry unions in disputes before the Labour Board and taking employers before arbitrators and the Pay Equity Tribunal to protect pay equity in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and universities. They also represent employees and unions in human rights cases. Before law, Emily worked overnight shifts in a safety-sensitive factory job, an experience that shaped their focus on workplace protections and dignity. Emily attended law school at Western University, where they volunteered with Unifor on arbitrations and collective bargaining and competed in the National Labour Arbitration Competition as both a mooter and a coach, graduating in the top ten percent of their class. They joined Goldblatt Partners after completing their articles at the firm.
