About Dylan
Dylan Gervais is an associate in the taxation and corporate law groups, focusing on tax-efficient advice for a range of business law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, wealth management, and estate planning. He studied at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he received the Dean's Silver Medal for the second-highest GPA in his class, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto with high distinction, specializing in finance and economics. His interest in tax developed during a clerkship with the Tax Court of Canada, where he assisted judges in deciding cases. He previously worked in-house for a private equity-owned company in real estate and facilities management, handling matters from acquisitions to commercial leases and employment law. Dylan also served as a teaching assistant at the Rotman School of Management and other business programs. He grew up in Timmins, Ontario, and is fully bilingual in French and English.
