About Aaron
Aaron is a partner at Loopstra Nixon who concentrates on real property law, particularly land use planning and development matters. Early in his career as a transaction solicitor he built broad experience at the intersection of planning and real estate. In 2009 he was seconded to the City of Toronto's Planning and Administrative Tribunal Law Department, working alongside its legal, planning, and enforcement staff. He now advises landowners, industrial operators, title insurers, and both residential and commercial developers, collaborating closely with real estate counsel, planners, architects, and engineers. Aaron has served on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's Municipal and Real Estate sections and on Urban Land Institute committees. He earned his LLB from the University of Western Ontario after a BA and journalism degree from the University of King's College.
