About Samiya
Samiya Ahmad is a partner at Zayouna Law Firm whose practice began with a heavy focus on representing injured parties in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability claims, and sexual assault matters. Over time she has broadened her work to include employment disputes, human rights complaints, and a range of litigation involving breach of contract, commercial disputes, mortgage enforcement, and real estate matters. She regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and has handled numerous mediations, case conferences, and arbitrations. Samiya earned her law degree from the University of Kent College of Law in 2006 and a BA in economics from the University of Western Ontario in 2003. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
