About Doug
Doug Langley advises clients on employment matters and handles employment litigation, and serves as the firm's senior counsel for tax litigation before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. He also leads the firm's bankruptcy and insolvency work, representing corporate and financial institution clients in receiverships, bankruptcies, and restructurings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, and has handled disputes involving insurance companies, shareholders, and contract breaches. A history and law graduate of the University of Toronto, Doug helped establish Wilson Vukelich in 1990 after working at two major Toronto firms. He brings more than 30 years of banking, insolvency, commercial, employment, and tax experience, and has conducted trials, appeals, mediations, and arbitrations at all levels of court in Ontario. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1977.
