About Andy

Andy Ayotte has been a partner at the firm since 2007, focusing his practice on lending, securitization and project financing transactions, with particular depth in asset and equipment leasing and energy retrofit financing. He has worked in the financial services sector for over two decades, starting out as a relationship manager at a major Canadian bank before moving to a Bay Street firm in 1989. He is recognized by Best Lawyers International for his work in banking and finance and by Lexpert for asset and equipment financing. Andy sits on the legal committee of the Canadian Finance & Leasing Association and belongs to the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association. He serves as counsel to Epilepsy Toronto and to the Canadian Epilepsy Alliance, which he helped found. He earned degrees from Brock University and the University of Windsor, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1986.
