About David

David appears before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, and looks for creative, efficient ways to resolve disputes given the high cost of litigation, while remaining a persuasive advocate in the courtroom when settlement isn't possible. He made partner at his previous downtown Toronto litigation firm after only three and a half years before co-founding RE-LAW LLP. His practice includes internet defamation claims, insurance litigation, and commercial disputes. Notable matters include obtaining an urgent injunction in Federal Court for journalists seeking access to a federal leaders' debate and successfully defending a $9 million public office misfeasance claim after a two-week trial. David earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2011 and a B.A. from York University in 2008, and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2012.
