About Avery
Avery Kalpin is an associate practising tax law and planning at Wilson Vukelich, focusing on corporate reorganizations, trusts, estate planning, the taxation of real estate, cross-border and international tax matters, and the purchase and sale of businesses. Before joining the firm, he practised tax litigation at a Toronto firm, representing individuals and corporations before the Tax Court of Canada. Avery completed his Bachelor of Arts with Honours at Queen's University, including a semester abroad at Sciences Po in Paris, where his honours thesis examined South African public housing policy. He graduated with Honours from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2019 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. He is conversant in French and Hebrew.
