About Christopher
Christopher Caruana studied political science with a focus on Canadian constitutional law at the University of Calgary before earning both English Common Law and Quebec Civil Law degrees at McGill University's Faculty of Law. He went on to complete a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School. Called to the New York State Bar in 1994 and the Ontario bar in 1997, he has practised corporate and commercial law and litigation, mainly commercial and banking litigation, from his base in the Greater Toronto Area since 1997, appearing before all levels of Ontario and federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. His work centers on contractual, shareholder, and priority disputes, and he has acted for individuals, companies, and financial institutions ranging from small credit unions to multinational lenders. Christopher joined Wilson Vukelich in 2008 after practising with several large downtown Toronto firms. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds Q.Arb accreditation with the ADR Institute of Canada, and since 2019 has served on the Real Estate Council of Ontario's Discipline and Appeals Committees. He is fluent in English and French.
