About Donald

Donald Jarvis is a partner at Filion Wakely who joined the firm as an associate in 1990 and became partner in 1994. His practice covers management-side labour relations, human rights and employment law, and he regularly acts as spokesperson at collective bargaining negotiations. Donald appears for both public sector and private employers in front of labour boards, arbitration panels, the courts and other employment tribunals, and the Law Society of Ontario certified him as a Specialist in Labour Law in 1998. He writes and presents frequently on labour and employment topics for employer groups and fellow practitioners. Donald previously chaired the Ontario Bar Association's Labour Relations Section from 2003 to 2004 and served on the Board of Directors of The Advocates' Society from 2009 to 2012.
