About Debi
Debi Sutin has more than 30 years of experience advising Canadian and international franchisors on Canadian franchise law, including regulatory compliance and best practices for building and maintaining franchise systems. Her work also covers cross-border transactions, supply and distribution agreements, corporate and commercial matters, and mergers and acquisitions. She is a long-serving member of the Ontario Bar Association's Franchise Law Section and co-chaired the 2017 OBA Annual Franchise Law Conference, and she writes and speaks frequently on franchise law. She holds a BA in Political Science from McGill University and an LLB from the University of Windsor, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1986.
