About David

David Wakely is a founding member of the firm and has practised exclusively in employment and labour law for management since 1975. His work spans all areas of labour and employment law, with a focus on collective bargaining and employment litigation. Municipal employers make up a large share of his client base, whom he represents at interest arbitrations and before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and other tribunals. Wakely holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours degree in Political Science from the University of Montreal. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1975 and belongs to the Advocates' Society, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers.
