About Anthony

Anthony Glavin has practiced labour and workplace law since being called to the BC bar in 1994, becoming a partner in 1997 with the firm that eventually became Koskie Glavin Gordon. He represents unions across the private and public sectors, including performers, cinematographers, longshore workers, firefighters, resident doctors, health care professionals, and post-secondary educators. He has built a significant health and welfare trust practice, having negotiated large public sector joint trust agreements covering more than 50,000 employees, and regularly appears before labour arbitrators, labour relations boards, and administrative tribunals as well as the courts of British Columbia and the federal jurisdiction. He also serves as lead negotiator for several clients, including as chief spokesperson for Resident Doctors of BC, and teaches labour arbitration courses each year for the Canadian Labour Congress Winter School.
