About Michael
Michael Bertrand is a partner in Goodmans' Banking and Financial Services Group. With more than two decades of experience, he represents both Canadian and international lenders and borrowers across a wide range of financing transactions, including corporate loans, private credit facilities, financing for acquisitions, real estate financings, construction lending, and public debt offerings, with particular depth in private equity, real estate development, and technology industries. Earlier in his career, from 2001 to 2005, Michael was based at a major international law firm in New York. He has been recognized by numerous legal ranking publications for his work in banking and finance law.
