About Christopher
Christopher D. Hicks is one of the founding partners of Hicks Adams, alongside Michael Block and Colin Adams. He has practiced criminal law for more than two and a half decades, concentrating on jury trials and appeals. Over his career he has handled numerous jury trials involving serious Criminal Code offences, argued appeals of both conviction and sentence at the Court of Appeal on a regular basis, and appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada more than a dozen times. He earned his law degree from the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario bar in 1981. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
