Daniel Wilson is a senior associate at Mincher Koeman Law Chambers, called to the Alberta bar in 2015. He practises exclusively in family law and related civil litigation, aiming for negotiated settlements where possible and acting as trial counsel where not, with successes at both the Court of King's Bench and the Provincial Court on parenting, mobility and spousal support disputes. He joined the firm in early 2018 after practising at another Calgary family law firm, and before that worked at a civil litigation boutique as junior counsel on trials involving shareholder oppression, professional negligence, and commercial leases. He completed his first year of law school at the University of Hong Kong before graduating from Queen's University Faculty of Law, where he made the Dean's Honour List and represented his faculty at the Gale Cup national mooting competition. He has appeared as counsel in several reported Alberta decisions.
