About Laura
Laura McPhee is a founding partner practising energy and regulatory law, advising clients on Alberta Energy Regulator compliance, environmental protection frameworks and water legislation. Her litigation experience includes appearances before Alberta courts and administrative bodies such as ICSID and the Canada Energy Regulator. She is also a Registered Parliamentarian who chairs corporate and association meetings, and is involved in developing an AI tool to help navigate regulatory requirements. Laura was called to the Alberta bar in 2020, and holds a JD and a BSc from the University of Calgary. She is originally from Calgary and enjoys hiking, mountain biking and backcountry skiing.
