About Kristin
Kristin Montieth practises family law at Mincher Koeman Law Chambers, which Kristin joined in 2026. Born and raised in Calgary, Kristin has practised family law since 2019. Kristin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Swansea University in Wales in 2017, completed a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall in 2018, began a career in Toronto and was called to the Ontario bar in 2019, before returning to Calgary and being called to the Alberta bar in 2020. Kristin takes a client-centred approach, emphasizing clear communication and negotiation and alternative dispute resolution, while acting as an advocate before the Court of King's Bench and the Provincial Court when settlement isn't possible.
