About Cynthia

Cynthia Solano is a member of TingleMerrett's Securities and Business Services practice groups, concentrating on public and private equity and debt financing, stock exchange listings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations, with experience in technology licensing and distribution. She manages going-public transactions and securities offerings, whether through prospectuses or offering memoranda, and advises on regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Before private practice, Solano was Vice President, Corporate Finance, of a small investment bank and Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary of a start-up oil and gas company. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (1994) and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology (1991), both from the University of Calgary, and a Diplome de Patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris (2004).
