About Ariane
Ariane Young has practiced corporate securities, corporate finance, and general corporate commercial law since 1994 and joined TingleMerrett LLP in 2006. Much of her practice involves emerging issuers planning to list on an exchange or merge with a larger entity, and she has extensive experience with financings, private and public acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and corporate restructurings and reorganizations. She acts as corporate secretary for several clients across industries including biotechnology, cannabis, software, and oil and gas. Young obtained her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1993 and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Honours) and Political Science from the University of Calgary in 1990, and she teaches the annual TSX Venture Success Workshops.
