About Cynthia

Cynthia Callison is a founding partner of Callison & Hanna. She has built a reputation as a negotiator in agreements between Indigenous peoples, governments, and resource developers. She earned degrees from the Sauder School of Business and the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, along with a Master's in Constitutional Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is a frequent speaker at international dialogues on Indigenous peoples and serves on several boards focused on Indigenous leadership and conservation. Cynthia is a member of the Tahltan Nation, whose territory covers the Stikine River watershed in northwestern BC.
