About Mallory
Mallory Hogan is an associate at Rice Parsons Leoni & Elliott LLP who has acted almost exclusively for plaintiffs since being called to the bar in 2017. She was part of the team that negotiated a first-of-its-kind Canadian settlement to recover health care costs tied to opioid-based pain medicines, and has worked in plaintiff-side class actions, aviation accidents, and medical malpractice. In recent years she has focused on claims for survivors of sexual violence, and in 2024 she was trial counsel in H.N. v. School District No. 61 (Greater Victoria), which resulted in a $2.3 million damages award, at the time the largest compensatory award for sexual abuse in Canada. Mallory joined the firm in November 2025. She holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia (2016) and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Bard College at Simon's Rock (2013).
