About Emily

Emily Thorpe is an Associate at DWF Canada in Vancouver, called to the British Columbia Bar in 2022. She holds a J.D. from Thompson Rivers University and a B.B.A. from Trinity Western University. She practices in DWF's corporate-commercial group, litigating employment and human rights matters, defamation claims and general commercial disputes, and previously clerked for five judges at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. During law school she competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, served as a student editor for the Canadian Journal of Contemporary and Comparative Law, and made the Dean's List.
