About Michael

Michael Segelken has practised law with Callison & Hanna since 2006. He graduated from UBC with degrees in political science and law, then articled and practised civil litigation at a large downtown firm before joining the firm. His practice focuses on business and economic development for Indigenous clients, and he has helped negotiate and implement several resource development agreements for Indigenous governments. He also advises Indigenous governments on trust management. Before law school he spent five years in the mining industry, experience he draws on in resource-sector negotiations. Michael was raised in North Vancouver, BC.
