About Curtis
Curtis practises in business, wills and estates, and real estate law, helping homeowners with sales, purchases and refinancings and advising business clients ranging from sole proprietorships to companies with hundreds of employees on incorporations, contracts and financing. His estate planning work includes wills, representation agreements, powers of attorney and succession plans, and he assists families with estate administration matters such as probate. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary before completing his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Alberta in 1996. He joined Pushor Mitchell in 1997 and became a partner in 2003, and was a long-time member of the CCH Corporate Law Advisory Board, editing several chapters of the British Columbia Corporations Law Guide. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Kelowna Bar Association, and is a past president of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce.
