About David

David Hobbs has practised in complex commercial and negligence litigation, including medical malpractice, professional negligence, and shareholder disputes, since being called to the British Columbia Bar in 1983, and is a prominent estate disputes lawyer handling will validity, committee appointments, and wills variation claims. He articled and became a partner at a prominent Vancouver firm before forming his own firm in 1992, which grew to 25 lawyers and staff, then formed Hobbs Giroday with Ian Giroday in 2005. Since 2008 David has served as a board member of the Health Professionals Review Board, and in 2014 he became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
