About Courtney

Courtney Turner practices family law and child protection at Cheadles LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2022, along with a Master of Arts in History, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, all from Lakehead University. Originally from Ingersoll, Ontario, she moved to Thunder Bay to explore the region's history and outdoor recreation. While in law school she served as Program Coordinator for the Pro Bono Students Canada Lakehead Chapter and volunteered with the Thunder Bay Violence Against Women Taskforce, and she now sits on the city's Heritage Advisory Committee.
